Racing as he formerly did in West Australia as Heez Orl Black, the diminuitive pacer cleared out by five and a half lengths to win in 1:51.4 (fifths) on the half-mile track.
Heez Orl Black, racing as a $25,000 claimer these days, was trained for the wni by Brittany Robertson.
This was his first win in 18 attempts for the year, coming on the back of three seconds and three thirds.
Heez Orl Black was racking up his 33rd career win from 196 lifetime starts, taking his earnings over $460,000.
Another former Cran Dalgety-trained pacer in Shineonucrazydiamond furthered his good year for the Ross Croghan stable, winning from the outside gate in a $15,000 pace at the Meadowlands on Saturday.
Shineonucrazydiamond, an Australian-bred son of Somebeachsomewhere and Bella Shine, worked wide to fifth early, improved to second in the open and rallied best to win by a nose in 1:50.2 (fifths).
This was his fourth win in 14 starts for the year, taking his yearly earings over $US85,000.
